Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), an
autonomous and not-for-profit institute, set up in 1983, is promoted
by apex financial institutions – the IDBI Bank Ltd.

Gujarat pledged 23 acres of land on which stands the majestic and

Two-Year Full-time programme, AICTE approved.
AIU Equivalence
The Curriculum is explicitly designed for business visionaries to encourage critical thinking and foster their ambitions through an academically rigorous and highly practical learning experience. Launched in 1998, this course focuses on developing efficient and methodical family business successors and budding entrepreneurs. It enables them to envision, identify and develop innovative business ideas.
New Enterprise Creation (NEC)
The objective of this specialization is to prepare students for identifying, initiating, managing, and growing a business enterprise. By the end of the Programme, the students of New Enterprise Creation are ready with a bankable Detailed Project Report (DPR)
Family Business Management (FBM)
At EDII, the budding entrepreneurs develop and learn the skills for being innovative, knowledgeable successors of their family businesses for competitive and sustainable growth. By the end of the Programme, the students of FBM are ready with a Five-Year Business/Diversification Plan.
Social Entrepreneurship (SE)
The objective of specialization in Social Entrepreneurship is to provide students with a new orientation and way of thinking to organize and lead sustainable development through social innovation and unceasing entrepreneurial growth.
Two-Year Full-time programme, AICTE approved.
The Programme upgrades your skills of converting ideas into sustainable business opportunities and fosters technology-based innovation into a successful business. Students become well-equipped as an innovative leader, gain financial skills to raise capital, and get cutting-edge expertise to tap the booming complex market. The students interact with industrialists and grandiose entrepreneurs across the globe and get expert mentorship.
Candidates having a University Degree in any discipline that's recognized by the UGC or AIU or AICTE with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category, as per norms) are eligible for Post-Graduation.
The eligibility criteria also include the score in management tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, and C- MAT. Students in their final year of graduates can also apply for this programme.
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks, or equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates in their final year of Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
The interested international candidate must have completed all examinations related to the graduate degree with a minimum of 50% overall marks and should also have a valid GMAT score.
