Building Enterprises with Purpose
In 2012, inspired by the way libraries were designed in Australia, Yogi co-founded CIVOM with a vision to create responsive learning environments for India’s future leaders. What began as an idea has since grown into a powerhouse of over 150 bright minds working on extraordinary concepts backed by ingenious research and development. Alongside CIVOM, he has co-founded enterprises across the food industry, infrastructure development, and wet-lamination coating & converting — with an enduring ambition to take the Indian food industry to global heights.
A Technogeek with a Human Touch
An early adopter of technology, Yogi uses it extensively to streamline workflows and expedite his teams’ progress. Yet beyond the boardroom, he is equally known for his eclectic interests — philosophy, literature, and fashion — and for being an informal therapist to the people around him, a quality that has shaped the collaborative, people-first culture at CIVOM.
Recognition That Reflects the Journey

A Commitment to Community
With social development close to his heart, Yogi has extended his entrepreneurial energy toward causes that generate employment and preserve the heritage and culture of regions across Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring states, through his continued support to the Prophetic Foundation and Shiv Om Sai Trust.
Learning at EDII
Yogi often credits his time at EDII for instilling the entrepreneurial mindset that continues to drive him — the confidence to spot an opportunity where others saw none, and the discipline to build something enduring around it. That grounding, paired with a restless curiosity for ideas across disciplines, remains at the heart of how he leads CIVOM and the wider UWC Group today.

Building Enterprises with Purpose
As Founder of Psuryaa Pharma and Deepak Petro, and Co-Founder of FitFusion Studio, Deepak has built a diversified portfolio of ventures — but it is his consistent commitment to inclusion and community welfare that has come to define his entrepreneurial identity. His businesses reflect a philosophy that growth and social good are not separate pursuits. Across his ventures, he has worked to create an inclusive workplace culture, deliberately generating opportunities for women and differently abled individuals — a commitment that has translated his enterprises into platforms for economic empowerment as much as commercial success.
A Voice for Community Welfare
Beyond business, Deepak has channelled his energy into initiatives that speak directly to public safety and welfare. His “Yamraj Calling” road safety campaign, aimed at promoting helmet use, has sought to instil a culture of safety on Gujarat’s roads. He has also been a consistent presence in blood donation efforts, organising and supporting multiple drives over the years. His sense of civic responsibility was perhaps most visible in his prompt mobilisation of blood donation efforts during the Air India incident — a response that reflected the same instinct for action and service that runs through his social initiatives.

Recognition That Reflects the Journey

Learning at EDII
Deepak often reflects on how his years at EDII shaped his approach to building enterprises with a conscience. The institute’s emphasis on hands-on, practical learning gave him the confidence to launch and diversify across ventures, while its culture of nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset instilled in him the belief that business success and social responsibility could — and should — go hand in hand. That foundation, he says, continues to guide the way he builds, employs, and gives back today.
